Next week and the week after all children from Year 2 through to Year 6 are scheduled to take numeracy and literacy tests. These take place on line and last for approximately 1 hour. All children will sit 3 tests: 1 Reading test, 1 numeracy reasoning and 1 numeracy procedural which will be spread out of over the next 2 weeks.
We do not worry about the tests as we already have a good understanding of how well our children are progressing however the tests do help us to support future planning.
If you have any questions, please raise them firstly with your child’s class teacher.
