Bikes and Scooters

Good Afternoon,

After yesterdays walk around by the Health and Safety Committee, it was noted that bikes and scooters left by the carpark gate on the Infant Yard is a Health and Safety hazard. If children have to come to school on a bike or scooter, parents should take them straight back home after drop off. If you HAVE to leave them at school, they must be locked to the fence and school takes no responsibility if they are damaged or stolen.

Thank you.

Good morning, We have been able to send a donation of £182 to a parish charity that is doing lots of work in Ethiopia. Thank you so much to everyone that contributed to non-uniform day. Mrs Priest-Jones.

Parent Pay

We have had a message from Wrexham Council saying emails had been sent out in error yesterday to parents saying your parent pay account is owing dinner money for your child.  The council have asked us to inform parents to ignore this email due to it being sent out in error.
Could I also remind parents who have not yet activated their account for Parent Pay, could you please do this as soon as possible. Parent Pay is used for paying for Music Lessons, School Trips, Non Uniform Days etc.  If you require your child’s username and password please contact Mrs Thomas in the school office.
Thank You

Face Masks

A reminder that face masks must still be worn to enter the school yards.

Only one person should collect children. It has been noticed that sometimes parents are accompanied by friends or other adults. We need to keep the number of people on the yards down.

Parent Pay

Dear Parents and Carers, it’s lovely to see the childen back to school today. Thank you to those of you that have set your child/children up on Parent Pay. There are however lots of concerns raised by teaching staff about the number of families that still haven’t set up an account. The information regarding how to register was sent to you before the Easter break by the local authority. Even if your child is entitled to Free School meals, you will still need to set up an account. We can support you in setting up your account but it is not schools responsiblity. Thank you, Mrs Priest-Jones.

Training day

Good afternoon Parents and Carers, I hope you and your family have been able to enjoy the Easter break. We have been blessed with some lovely weather! Just a reminder that Monday, school is only open to staff for training purposes. We look forward to seeing you and your children on Tuesday. Please keep your class teacher informed if you or your children are isolating. Thank you. Mrs Priest-Jones.

Easter Egg Competition

Good morning, we had a lovely assembly over Zoom this morning. Stars of the week certificates have been given to children in each class and we announced the winners of the Easter egg competition. Well done to Logan (Year 6), Zuzanna (Year 4), Hayloe (Year 3), Osian (Reception), Jakoby (Nursery) and Jayden P (Year 1) who received Easter eggs. All of the children who took part will bring home a bag of sweets. Thank you so much for taking part. I hope you had fun making them at home. Happy Easter to you all! We look forward to seeing you all back on Tuesday 13th April. (Monday is staff training) Diolch. Mrs Priest-Jones.

Easter Egg Competition

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful entries we have received this week. 77 of them!! It was very difficult for the judges. The winners will be revealed in our Zoom assembly in the morning. Mrs Priest-Jones

Parent Pay

We have had confirmation that school is going live with parent pay from tomorrow, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.  Could I please ask all parents to activate your parent pay accounts and book your child/children’s meals online.  Please go through the menu with your child so they know what they will be having for luch as the meal you book will be the meal your child will be given. This must be done by 7am in the mornings.  You can book in advance or on a daily basis. Breakfast club bookings will also need to be booked online so we know who will be attending breakfast club.  We are unable to accept any cash at school. If you prefer to pay by cash and not use the internet there will be a pay point code on your letter where you can take it to any shop that accepts pay point and they will sort out the payment.  If you chose this method you do still need to order their meal choices online but obviously no payments are required.
Thank You
