We want to work in partnership with you to ensure your child has the best education they can. We have an open door policy where you can feel free to ask us any questions and discuss any worries or concerns.
In Year 2 the children are preparing for Key Stage 2 and we are trying to get them to become more independent and able to concentrate for lengthening periods on focus tasks.
Our aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable to instil a love of learning for every child.

Our Numeracy focusses
- Counting and numbers to 100 and beyond

- Counting in 2’s, 5’s,10’s

- Money- adding amounts and knowing how to make an amount using different coins

In addition to this the children will be following The My Happy Minds programme for their wellbeing education.
We will be having a weekly PE session focussing on apparatus and games
We will visit the Queensway Gym each week after half term.
Children will have weekly creative tasks
Outdoor learning will also be a key part of the daily routines.

Look out for messages and pictures of your child on Seesaw

Please bring your child’s book bag back each week by a Wednesday.
Provide your child with a Heathy Snack and water bottle each day.
