Ein Criw Cymraeg

Meet the Criw.

These are the representatives on the Criw Cymraeg for 2023/2024.

We are working hard towards our Bronze Award this year.

We meet regularly to decide on our Patrwm yr wythnos which is then displayed around the school.

We have helped to organise the school eisteddfod, the Dydd Gwyl Dewi parade and Dydd Miwsig Cymru.

FFion Evans won the competition to design a Croeso poster, which is now displayed in the entrance hall. Da iawn Ffion!

Patrwn yr Wythnos

The simple objective of the Language Charter is to provide a clear framework, which can be used to promote and increase the use of Welsh by pupils in a whole school context. In a nutshell, the Charter’s main aim is to promote a strong Welsh ethos in our school and to provide a range of enriching activities that propel the children to enjoy learning Welsh.

The Language Charter encourages participation from every member of the school community, and members of the school workforce and council, the pupils and their parents, school governors and the wider community are all encouraged to take full ownership of it. The Criw Cymraeg (Welsh Crew) are instrumental in leading and driving the Language Charter forward at Ysgol Santes Annes.

Here are some of the websites and apps that children use in school and can be used at home.
