This year our school council has 2 representatives from each class. We meet on a Wednesday lunchtime and one member is the secretary, so they take the notes form the meeting. The class representatives feed back to the class any ideas or concerns they have about school.
As a council we discuss the ideas and if they are viable we ask the headteacher if we can pursue them. Sometimes this will involve fundraising and sometimes we raise money for new playground equipment. We will keep you updated on our plans for this year.
This year we raised money for new outdoor benches and painted them. We bought new mirrors for the toilets.
We went to St Joseph’s as a cluster school council to help design a new cluster vision and logo.
