School Council

School Council

Our School Council is a group of children who act as one voice for the children in the school. Its members are elected by their peers to represent them. There are two Counsellors from each year group (Year 2 onwards) who meet regularly. Children can use the School Council to put forward ideas from their Class Council meetings. The Chair and Vice Chair attend learning walks and are responsible for administering and collating the Pupil Questionnaires in the autumn term. From the evaluations further action is taken by the School Council representatives to ensure all our pupils are happy in school. The Counsellors are also responsible for organising events, leading assemblies, feeding back to Governors and developing policies.
