St Anne’s was visited this morning by Professor Graham Donaldson who has been reviewing the way children are learning in schools across Wales. From his findings, he has been working with Welsh Government to produce a new curriculum which will be statutory from 2022. It was an honour to have Professor Donaldson in our school. He enjoyed talking to the children in their classes and was very complimentary of our school. If you would like to read more about his research, Google ‘Successful Futures’. Before the end of the summer, I will hold an open afternoon so that we can share more information with parents regarding the new curriculum.
