At St Anne’s we realise the importance of every child’s wellbeing and emotional needs being met.
We have recently been able to facilitate 2 members of staff to train as Emotional Literacy Support Assistants. (ELSA)
They will now be running 6-week courses for those pupils we identify as needing additional support in the areas of bereavement, separation, handling emotions and other issues that may affect them.
Please take time to look at the Elsa information leaflet below to help you understand what we can provide. If you wish to look at the leaflet we do have some available in the school office.
If you feel your child has any issues, they may need help in comprehending, please let your child’s class teacher know or contact Mrs Stephens if you wish to chat about it. We can then look at offering your child sessions.
