Dear Parents
We are sure that you have all been very upset and worried about the situation in Ukraine. We have all seen the heart-breaking coverage on the television and heard about the desperation of so many innocent people. As a school, we want to find a way of raising vital funds to help the people who need it most.
Some of our children in school have expressed their concern and anguish over the situation.
Once again, we are asking for your help. We plan to hold a cake sale next week in order to raise money that we can give to the appeal for the people of Ukraine.
On Wednesday 9th March, we are asking that pupils bring in donations of cakes (homemade or bought) in order for us to sell them throughout the day. Your child can bring money in to purchase their choice of cakes.
In addition to the money for cakes, we would also be grateful for any additional donation you would like to make. Every penny helps towards making people in crisis life a little better.
Please send your cash donations/ cake donations in with your child to their class.
Members of our school council will then sell them throughout the day to each class in turn.
If your child is in one of our younger classes please can you put their money for cakes in a clearly named envelope to make their teachers life a little easier.
It is always at times like these we see the kindness and generosity of our families here at St Anne’s
We thank you for your continued support in all our efforts to help those in need.
Yours sincerely
The staff and children.
